This beautiful ruralhut for four people in the Limousin (Haute Vienne) used to be a bakery and pig stall. On the first floor of this nature house there is a bedroom with a double bed, TV and DVD player, a cot (bring along your own bed linen), and an alcove bed for two persons. The bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet can also be found on the first floor. Downstairs you have the sitting area with a wood burning stove and the kitchen with a hot air oven, microwave, Senseo and coffee machine, fridge, dining table, and highchair. There is a covered terrace with a table and sofas outside. Garden chairs, umbrella, and barbecue are also available. The street ends against the edge of the forest, making the area quiet and child-friendly. The surroundings are beautifully green with many forests and meadows. Lake Bujaleuf, “Lac de St. Hélene” is within walking distance, with a beautiful sandy beach, children’s playground, and children’s pool. A lifeguard is present here from July to August. This area is ideal for those who enjoy fishing and water sport enthusiasts.

The Limousin, the true France with preserved nature offers a range of possibilities. It is a varied and woody area with many clear rivers and countless lakes. A walk over the Plarteau de Millevaches is breathtaking! The nature enthusiast will definitely have a great time in this region of France. The Limousin has a lot to offer in terms of fauna and flora, and is also a sparsely populated region. The friendly and quiet landscape is a carpet of green meadows, and dense chestnut and oak forests. The barrels in which the renowned wines from all over the world and the French cognacs ripen are often made of the Limousin beech and oak wood. Characteristic villages with old buildings, made out of typical materials of the region and often include wood-burning stoves, sheds, and stalls for the red-brown Limousin cattle that is sought-after all over the world for its tasty meat. Shops in Bujaleuf are roughly two kilometers away from the ruralhut. In St. Léonard the Noblat (+/- 13 kilometers) you will find several supermarkets, banks, tourist office, clinic, doctors et cetera.
