We are in the hilly area of Springendal, just across the border in Germany. This area is also called Little Limburg because of its hilly landscape with streams and water mills. The landscape is characterized by the many wooded banks and canals, making it a beautiful area for cycling par excellence. Located about 12 kilometers from Nordhorn, the beautiful town of Bad Bentheim with its magnificent castle is a half-hour drive away. The Dutch border is literally a stone's throw away and it is very close to the picturesque town of Ootmarsum which is known for its artists.
