Experience a performance in the Shakespeare Theater or visit the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen. Time for action? Then get on your bike for a beautiful tour through the largest shifting sand area in the Netherlands, the Aekinger Zand. Visit the dolmen in "Shakespeare" village Diever or get inspired by the Museum of False Art in Vledder or the Colonies of Weldadigheid in Frederiksoord. In a 10-kilometer circle around the house that stands in Zorgvlied, there is plenty to do. And the children? The kids have plenty of room to romp in the woods or play in the cozy loft in the cottage. A visit to Wildlands in Emmen is always a success or try the Butterfly Garden in Havelte. After all the exertion, young and old can relax in the large garden or enjoy the fireplace.
