The vacation home has a cozy living room and kitchen and has 3 guest rooms for up to 6 guests. Per stay, 2 dogs are welcome. The vacation home is located in the rural area between Oosterwolde and Veenhuizen: this region is a paradise for nature lovers, cyclists, runners and walkers with ample opportunities for the four-legged.From the plot it is a matter of crossing the street to then "climb" the Weperbult.After descending the hump you walk or cycle through the special Fochteloërveen. This unique nature reserve of about 2500 hectares is one of the few and best preserved raised bog areas in Western Europe. Here reign an un-Dutch silence, vast vistas and endless space.From the Fochteloërveen you can easily cycle towards special villages such as Veenhuizen, Appelscha and the beautiful Drents-Friese Wold.Also cities are not far away: Groningen, Assen and Emmen but also the Frisian cities of Drachten and Leeuwarden with museums and lots of culture.
