Omke Siebren was a chair smith who traveled through the border area of Friesland and Groningen with his family in the caravan. It is a journey back in time when life went much slower. We like to introduce you to everything a person needs, warmth, a cozy stay and peace in the wild. It is a life without hurry, in harmony with nature and enjoying all the good things life has to offer us. The nature house is located in the Westerkwartier of Groningen. This is a beautiful coulisse landscape with beautiful cycling and walking opportunities. Two bicycles are available on the farm and can be rented. The area is ideal for cycling and walking, for example through the unique stream and marsh area of the small river Lauwers. In the yard of the trailer, geese, chickens and turkeys scratch around nearby. Goats in the meadow and sheep in the field or in the sheepfold. A walk through nature starts 50 meters from the living place. A large nature reserve is just around the corner. Do you prefer a bit more liveliness? Then the city of Groningen, 25 km away, with its many monuments, concerts and festivals is also a nice option. An evening of stargazing in Pake's tub (wood-fired hot tub) is a possibility.
