Nature reserve Zwartebroek is a small-scale, old cultural landscape with lots of water, old peat holes and alder brook forest. You can enjoy walking and cycling here. This area offers much variety, with meadows, fields, forests and above all: peace and quiet. Or put on your boots, backpack and wander along the many paths and winding roads along meadows, farms and thickets. The wooden shoe paths are a must! In the vicinity of Zwartebroek there is much more to discover in nature, think of outlying area Barneveld with Klein Bylaer and Kallenbroek, are located west of Barneveld in an area intersected with streams. The area has grown into an attractive landscape with many old trees, mixed forest and wet heath. There are many special plant and animal species. It can be cycled and walked. Furthermore, the forests near Putten, Voorthuizen, Garderen and also in the other direction towards Den Treek are recommended!
