In the rear part of our residential farmhouse we have realized a cottage of ± 70M² in 2022. The cottage has a private entrance, terrace a spacious garden with outdoor lighting. Inside is practically everything present, The whole space is heated by underfloor heating. The cottage is suitable for 2 adults and 3 children. Bedroom 1 has a spacious 2 bed afm. 1.60x2.10 meters and bedroom 2 has a triobed (bunk beds 2 persons below and 1 person above) this is suitable for children. From the room you have a nice view of our alpacas who like to look curiously inside. There are also a number of board games available. Your dog is of course welcome, but we ask you to bring your own Bench / basket. Dogs are not allowed on the bed or couch. We would like to welcome you as our guest(s). Greetings, Johan and Jellie

The vacation home is located in the picturesque village Oudemirdum. Here you will find a bakery, butcher, drugstore, supermarket, restaurants and a cafe, an electrical specialist / camping store, the visitor center Gaasterland (Mar and Klif) and a full service bicycle (rental) company. There is also an ATM. In Oudemirdum you can therefore go for most 'basics'. Nearest larger villages with more extensive facilities are: Balk (8 kilometers) and Lemmer (15 kilometers).There you will find more retail, large supermarkets and chain stores. Oudemirdum and surrounding area is located in beautiful surroundings where forests, meadows and water alternate. You can find endless cycling and walking, or visit one of the many small villages in the area. Oudemirdum is located in National Landscape Southwest Friesland, a landscape with many faces.
