The cottage is located in the yard of our national monumental farm in the watery Terkaple. We always call the cottage the 'hokje' but is a tastefully renovated vacation home with all modern conveniences. It is 1 large room suitable for families and groups of friends up to 5 people. The bathroom and toilet are in the same room behind a wall and screen. Outside is an authentic farmers outdoor toilet a so-called 'convenience'.

Our yard is 4500 square meters and half lies on open waterways. We therefore have a valkje or sups for rent to make beautiful trips in the largest nature reserve in the Netherlands the Frisian Lakes. It is also fantastic walking or cycling. Bicycles can be rented at tweewieler centrum Joure and are delivered and picked up when you order them.
