A week away in Twente, relaxing in nature, far from the daily hustle and bustle? Nature house KnusinTwente lives up to its name: In Twente we have a cozy place, in 20s / 30s style and yet with all the comforts! You will not find a TV, but you can play old-fashioned records or read a book. Or just enjoy on your own terrace of the leafy garden overlooking the meadow. Doing nothing, a drink from the refrigerator, and sharing what passes by squirrels, rabbits, birds, butterflies ... So cozy in Twente! The apartment has its own entrance and has its own extensive and fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom with toilet.We can adapt our apartment so that wheelchair users can use it independently. This Nature House is in a rural location just outside the hamlet of "De Pollen" in Twente. A neighborhood supermarket (1 km) and several restaurants and bars are nearby. Directly opposite, you enter the nature reserve the Engbertsdijksvenen, known for its special flora and fauna.If you go in a different direction, you will find the old coulisse landscape of Twente, with streams, rolling meadows and old farms, or forest, hills and moorland along the border with Germany. The Springendal, the valley of the Mosbeek, the Uelsener Berge, it's all around the corner!There are numerous walks from the Twents walking network, many (junction) cycling routes, including for MTB. The long-distance cycle route LF14, the Saxony Route, is half a kilometer away. Along the way is also plenty of catering available for a drink or a regional snack, with the hospitality that is so typical of Twente.When the weather is less nice, Ootmarsum, Bad Bentheim, the zoo in Nordhorn or the Veenmuseum are nice trips.
