Ecolodge located in the vast nature of Rebecq. This apartment is located in an old railroad building on the 1st floor. An outside staircase leads to the terrace. It includes a living area with kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom. The couch can be converted into a sofa bed. From the terrace you can also go to the bedroom which is located in a separate tower. From the tower you overlook the treetops and vistas. The house is heated with wood stoves. There is only city water in the kitchen, the other utilities are rainwater. The internet is not always stable. We have our own dog, 2 chickens, 2 goats, and a cat. The garden is not fenced. Other than the animals, you won't hear many other noises at the crack of dawn. We no longer allow additional dogs. We live in a cul-de-sac, unfortunately the last part is not well maintained. Rebecq is a rural village in Walloon Brabant. We are at the end of the street. Right next to the depot of a tourist steam train. " Le petit train du bonheur" runs from April to the end of September on Sundays and holidays. The environment is very peaceful and secluded. There is no public transportation nearby. The old railroad lines that pass next to our house serve as a fixed starting route to explore the area. Nature there is still very unspoiled. Walks along " la vallée des oiseaux " or "le verger du paradis" appeal to the imagination. The hyacinth walk of the Hallerbos, a visit to the inclined plane of Ronquières or Pairi Daiza are frequently visited day trips. Guided walks with French-speaking nature guide possible on request.
