Our studio is located on the First floor of our characteristic half-timbered house "Haus an der Werbe". It is part of a complex of several houses in an attractive yard. The house is located at the edge of the small village of Ober-Werbe, located in the Waldeckerland in Northern Hesse. The one-bedroom apartment is compact, but certainly fully equipped. You have access to a private bathroom, a small, fully equipped, kitchen and a private terrace. In addition, you can use the common garden and parking lot. These are shared with the other residents in the yard. Wifi is free and the smart TV allows you to watch German television as well as your own programs via apps or streaming services. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob with 2 cooking zones, a fridge-freezer and a microwave. You also have access to a Nespresso machine and a kettle. The use of bed linen, towels and kitchen linen is included in the price.

Our house is located directly on the small river De Werbe and is surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve. It is a perfect base to explore the hilly surroundings. From the house you can make beautiful walks and / or (atb-) bike tours. In the village itself are two beautiful attractions to visit: the "Langenstein" and the "Klosterruine". At a distance of about 4 km from the house is the Edersee. At this reservoir you will find many opportunities for recreation: cycling, hiking, swimming, boat rental, fishing, etc.. The "Waldeck Castle" is definitely worth a visit, as is the "Sperrmauer" near Edertal. For a spa day you can visit Bad Wildungen (30 minutes drive). Winter sports can be enjoyed in Willingen (about 40 minutes by car) or Winterberg (about 45 minutes). In the National Park 'Kellerwald' there are several hiking and cycling routes. The nearest bank, supermarket, bakery, butcher and a number of restaurants can be found in Sachsenhausen (3.5 km).
