The hut with its own small terrace is part of our tent oasis. Attention only for outdoor freaks!!! It is a simple wooden hut, not lockable. You have to think of it as a large wooden tent with a wooden sauna bed on a wooden parquet floor (no bedding available, so bring your own sleeping bag). The front half has a natural stone floor laid in sand. It is not airtight, perfect in summer because it is very airy, but cold and draughty in winter! Simple, but rustic! One level higher is the campsite. The tent oasis has a simple covered cooking area, as well as sanitary facilities, toilets and a conservatory for all guests to share. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are all provided. Simply ask for any other requirements. In months with sub-zero temperatures the showers and outdoor kitchen are closed!!! This is part of our natural campsite. It is located in the middle of the Fichtelgebirge, below the Ochsenkopf in Bischofsgrün. Approx. 1.5 km from the town center. Here, near a small spring stream at the edge of the forest, with a view of the natural herb meadows, writers, painters and musicians will find enough peace and quiet to indulge in their creativity, undisturbed by traffic noise and other hustle and bustle. But there is also enough space here for seminars and workshops on cultural, musical or therapeutic topics, and the unique location away from built-up areas allows youth groups and families, for example, to move around freely.
