This ancient commune is perched at an altitude of 520 m, not far from the summit of the Plateau des Tailles, the Baraque de Fraiture. It is a popular starting point for cross-country skiing. We recommend the following walk: Tour des fagnes d'Odeigne 8.8 Km This circuit takes you on a tour of the peat bogs, countryside and forests surrounding the village of Odeigne. Marking: green rectangle Start: Odeigne school, located in the village center. Easy parking, picnic area, children's playground. Head for the Béniké cross-country ski trails. Length: 9 km - 3 h on gravel paths and trails, sometimes muddy and very wet (peat bogs), but beautiful! Make sure you're well equipped. In winter, when there's snow, we recommend the Benike trails at Odeigne. Cross-country ski or snowshoe through the beautiful countryside around Vielsalm.
