"My grandmother bought this unique piece of forest/heath land in 1918 and had a very romantic little wooden house with a porch put on it. It was her cottage and later she went to live there with my grandfather and their two children (my mother and her little brother) it passed to my mother and has been used as a family home ever since. The original cottage was destroyed in the war and since 1957 it has been rebuilt. The rebuild is situated higher up on the property allowing views of valley, heathland and garden on all sides. The garden of almost 3000 m2 has been laid out in stages over the past forty years. Since 2022 it has been owned by me and my brother. I like to share this unique and paradisiacal place so that more people can enjoy it. A wonderfully cozy, warm and sweet vacation home where you will feel at home immediately. You don't actually have to leave and can move from one terrace to another all day. Enjoy garden, nature and the ultimate free feeling.

Located in the second "valley" of the Netherlands, right on the Mookerheide. The house is located on a dirt road about 500 meters from the national highway. The house is literally in nature between heath and forest. Just walk out the gate and hours can walk through forests (Reichwald), along fields (the seven hills road), hills (the St. Jansberg), the three lakes. Swimming can be within walking distance in the Mookseplas or the Great Siep. Restaurants are 3 minutes away. In Mook there are 2 supermarkets. In Groesbeek there is a weekly market and you can enjoy sitting on a terrace. The best Italian ice cream can be found in Plasmolen. Shopping in cozy Nijmegen, to Tivoli amusement park, the best pancakes you eat at the Duivelsberg. Midget golf, go to the sauna. After a nice walk you can sit on one of the many terraces in the large garden and enjoy the view of the garden or the Mookerheide. In short, enjoy, refuel and fun in the Kuyksehof.
