Welcome to our delightful cottage, rural with a beautiful view. The house is located in its own yard, with unobstructed views of the Blue Forest and the gently rolling meadows with sometimes deer, hares, badgers and the stork stepping past the terrace. The house is comfortably furnished with an open kitchen, a separate bedroom and a separate shower with toilet. The beds are made for you on arrival and towels are provided. You can sit in the sun in the nature garden and campfire is possible.

The house is located directly on the Stellingerwerfpad. From your stay you can walk straight into the Blue Forest, several circular walks are possible along beautiful fens and heathland with forest. There is a lot of natural beauty with all kinds of birds, plants and other animals. There are numerous bicycle possibilities for example towards Bakkeveen, Fochtelooerveen, Norg and Veenhuizen. Bike rental is possible in the village and there are various catering facilities, stores and a unique outdoor pool with large sunbathing area. Haulerwijk is centrally located in the North on the three provincial point between Assen, Groningen, Drachten and Heerenveen. The Wadden Islands are also easily accessible, for example for a day trip.
