Because of the pointed roof and the glass gables you experience a sea of space. The name of this nature house means blue tit in Frisian. In this house you experience that you are really in Friesland; not only outside on the terrace but also inside the house. This is due to the many windows, the spacious view and the unique location on the water. It is fully equipped for a pleasant stay. On a chilly evening, cozy up with the wood stove. Suitable for a family of up to 6 persons, but also for two friendly couples, this nature house is an excellent vacation home. The kitchen is well equipped and has all basic comforts. Pean-buiten is located directly on the Wijde Ee, sailing water that is part of one of the most beautiful sailing areas of Friesland. From this lake you can easily sail northeast (without bridges) to Grou or the national park the Alde Feanen with the villages Eernewoude and de Veenhoop. If you sail southwest, you will reach Akkrum, Terherne and the Sneekermeer. Experience this beautiful area from the water with a canoe, supboard, sloop, motorboat or sailing boat. Due to the diversity, the waterways are very suitable for beginners and advanced water sports enthusiasts. There are also several biking and hiking opportunities in the area. The variety of meadows and waterways typifies the Frisian landscape. The catering and cultural facilities in the various villages such as Akkrum, Grou, de Veenhoop and Aldeboarn are excellent.
