Our nature house is a special guest house (Alojamento Local) located in a beautiful hilly landscape with many orchards, vineyards and forests in which small typical country houses are scattered like a patchwork. We rent 5 rooms for up to 9 people, all located in the main building of the castle grounds. The rooms overlook the garden or the valley and are equipped with wooden shutters and/or rolling shutters with possible use of central heating. There is a spacious dining room, lounge with wood stove and a kitchen available for preparing meals. If you are sporty, we are happy to rent mountain bikes and help you plan beautiful walks. In short, an ideal place for a quiet relaxing vacation.

We have other assets besides the commercial operation of the guesthouse. Our property has an ecological permaculture garden, a hiking forest and a natural forest which are of course free to visit and in which volunteers work regularly. Besides the human inhabitants, there are also other permanent residents: two ponies, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, cats and a dog. The management promotes wild fauna and flora and we are proud of our temporary guests like the mongoose, weasel, fire salamander, hazelworm, hoopoe, barn owl, green woodpecker, nightingale and many more. The property is located near the beautiful river Zêzere with idyllic villages like Dornes. At a 30 km distance is Tomar with its World Heritage Templar Castle. Furthermore, attractions within limited distance are Coïmbra, Conimbriga, Fatima, Batalha, Nazaré, Alcobaça and Constançia.
