There is a railway station in Rieder, in the Harz in Germany. It was constructed in 1891 for the imperial Railways. It is a characteristic building with a long history. The Deutsche Bahn, around the change of the century, closed the line that serviced this station. The building, part of the platform and a piece of land were offered for sale. After seven years of renovation, it re-opened in 2016. This is your chance to stay in at old train station building!"Die Plattform" is the middle floor with its own entrance, through the awning under which people used to wait on the platform. You live/sleep in the former waiting room and the kitchen and bathroom are furnished where the office used to be and the tickets were sold.
