Our spacious vacation home is quiet and secluded, surrounded by greenery. Renovated and equipped to contemporary standards, it still carries the charm of times past. Texts engraved in the old wooden beams make you fantasize about what scenes took place here in the past. Once a family of millers lived here. You can see the mill across the street turning and grinding on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. As true nature lovers, we find it important to bring people back closer to nature. This vacation home is an ideal base to escape from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, unwind while enjoying both home and surroundings. We offer our guests the possibility of guided hiking in the surrounding nature reserves, or nature experience activities such as campfire cooking and nature coaching.

The vacation home is located adjacent to the St. Maartensheide and De Luysen nature reserve, where you can take longer and shorter walks. Surrounded by the dry oak forests and marshes of the Grootbroek and Stamprooierbroek and the agricultural areas of St. Maartensheide and Kreiel, the ponds are home to rare birds and dragonflies. Several bird-watching huts give you a unique view of this area. Cycling enthusiasts can also have a great time here. The vacation home is right in the middle of the cycle junction network and you will find an immediate connection to get to know cycling paradise Limburg. Right across from the vacation home you will find the cozy 'coffee house De Luysmolen', where you can enjoy breakfast (best make reservations!), lunch or after a walk treat yourself to a tasty piece of cake or a nice beer.
