The authentic house (the front house) has on the ground floor a cozy living room with sitting area, dining area for six people, a fully equipped and fully convenient open kitchen, a luxury bathroom (with bath, shower, sink and toilet) and a spacious bedroom with double bed. For two extra persons there are sleeping possibilities in the sleeping loft. This has a ceiling height of 1.60 m and is accessible via a staircase in the bedroom. In the spacious garden by the forest, there are two seating areas where you can enjoy nature. There is private parking for your car and a lockable bike shed. If you stay with us, you are the only user(s) of the front house (bedroom, sleeping loft, bathroom, living room, kitchen) and the garden with seating areas. So lots of space and privacy. The beds are made, there is plenty of bath and bed linen, shampoo and shower gel, a coffee machine (type Nespresso) with coffee cups and you have the choice of various types of tea.

The front house is located between Staphorst and IJhorst and borders the nearly 1,000-acre Staphorster Forest. In the forest are beautiful fens, moors and beautiful hiking and cycling routes. The Staphorsterbos has several mountain bike routes with lengths up to 25 km. At 1500 m from our nature house you will find recreation area "De Zwarte Dennen" with swimming pond and sandy beach. Also the Reestdal with its beautiful scenery is close by. Also consider a trip to the Weerribben, the Wieden and Giethoorn The nature occasionally swap with activities in a city? You can. Zwolle is 20 minutes by car and Meppel is about 10 km and is easily accessible by bicycle or car. In short, something for everyone.
