In our luxurious, energy-efficient and comfortably furnished Veurhuus with unobstructed views of meadows and forests is peace, space, privacy and a beautiful nature experience guaranteed. The Veurhuus was completely renovated in 2020 and in 2022 the cavity walls were provided with insulation and ten additional solar panels were installed. These energy-saving measures ensured that rents were not increased for 2023. On the ground floor is the living room/kitchen and an odor-free toilet and upstairs are the bedrooms with a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The Veurhuus is environmentally conscious, comfortable and very well furnished! It is a luxury private vacation home for up to 5 persons with a former sheep pasture of 1,100 m2 where the children can play nicely and where you can find a nice place to sit in the sun and/or shade. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset in the Jachthut.

Nature can do very well without people, but people cannot do without nature! In the surrounding nature there is much to see and do. The National Parks: Dwingelderveld, the Weerribben/Wieden and the Drents-Friese Wold are within half an hour by car. Enjoy walking or cycling on the moors where the shepherd roams with his flock of sheep. Or rent a canoe or whisper boat and sail through the Weerribben. Giethoorn is a destination not to be missed, but Muggebeet and Dwarsgracht are just as beautiful and less crowded. Drenthe also has a lot of culture and history to admire and experience e.g. Museum Village Orvelte. More information can be found in an extensive information folder. At the organic experience farm Sonneclaer opposite Hoeve Koeweide you can see the farm and the animals. The children can play in the Hooi-Hooi play barn or playground and eat an ice cream on the terrace. The combination of nature and adventure.
