This nature house is located at the crossroads of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. It is a beautiful area that invites you to explore. Opposite the Lodge you will find Coendersborg estate, where you can take a beautiful walk through the woods. Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy the many beautiful cycling routes that wind through the area as you explore the unique landscapes of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. For the sporty cyclist, there is a mountain bike route through the area south and west of the Lodge, right through the Groningen coulisse landscape of the Westerkwartier. Bakkeveen with its forests and heathland is easy to reach, and don't forget to visit Nienoord estate in Leek! This nature house is centrally located between Drachten and Groningen.
