Welcome! Just outside the fortified town of Nieuwpoort, in the outlying area of Langerak, you will find an attractive and comfortable guest room in the basement of our 100-year-old dyke house. With a private entrance, luxury box-spring beds and much attention to authentic details, you will never forget your stay at our deliciousness. Rest on your own terrace, in the garden or at the sandy beach on the Lek (200m away) where boats regularly pass. The pantry (next to the guest room) offers coffee and tea facilities and information about the area. Hiking and cycling maps are available. Your private bathroom has a bathtub, toilet, sink and walk-in shower. We offer a delicious breakfast with local products which is served in your guest room. Rural location on the border of Alblasserwaard and Krimpenerwaard, our guesthouse is popular with hikers and cyclists. From our guesthouse there are several bicycle routes possible in the Green Heart varying in length and duration. Think for example of a beautiful trip to Kinderdijk, the Biesbosch or to the fortified towns of Nieuwpoort, Schoonhoven or Gorinchem. Closer to home, you will cycle past picturesque monumental farms and wide vistas where you cannot miss the many meadow birds and flowery ditch edges. Our guesthouse is located on the river Lek. This is one of the rivers that embraces this area. From the Lek dike you cycle through the green surroundings of the Veenweidegebied.
