Our Nature house just behind the Elbe dyke is located in the middle of the Lower Saxony Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve. Sheep and goats of old domestic animal breeds live on the meadow orchard behind the house. On the property there is a garden sauna and a small playground. On the covered, spacious terrace with garden furniture and barbecue you can relax with a view of the orchard. The Elbe, with a small bay with a sandy beach and excellent fishing opportunities, is just a few steps away. The nature house is connected to the fiber optic cable, so you can surf the Internet quickly. However, the surrounding nature is more attractive. Pets are welcome for a fee of 5 euros per day. If you come with your e-bike or e-car, you will also find a charging station here. You can also hire a stand-up paddle board and a paddle boat with an outboard motor. Discounts are available for longer stays by arrangement.

The old dyke bailiff's house is located in a unique nature reserve. Ornithologists can see a wide range of bird species, especially in the cold season, when winter visitors can be observed wonderfully from the dyke. White-tailed eagles, geese, cranes and beavers are all at home here. A pack of wolves has also returned to the forests of the neighboring Amt Neuhaus. You can explore the Elbe floodplain and neighboring villages on the Elbe cycle path. Bicycles, including e-bikes, can be hired from us for a fee. Touring bikes (5 €/day) and two e-bikes (18 €/day, 12 € from three days rental).the Elbe ferry Amt Neuhaus connects both banks regularly.please buy a weekly ticket, for example, on the first crossing.
