Prühl is a small, quiet village in the middle of the beautiful Steigerwald Forest with just under 200 inhabitants. The village is about 7 km from the A3 freeway. The cities of Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Bamberg, Erlangen, Nuremberg, Fürth and Rothenburg ob der Tauber can all be reached in less than 60 minutes by car. Although Prühl is very centrally located between these cultural cities, the town itself is idyllically surrounded by nature. Numerous hiking and biking trails invite leisure activities, and the Franconian landscape with forests, meadows and vineyards along the Main River is unique and varied.
