Located in the hills, about 8 km outside the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino, we are happy to welcome guests to the studio. The last kilometer goes along a well-maintained dirt road, after which you arrive in the small settlement of Gambaroncia. The studio is located in a private area and is comfortably furnished with a double bed (two single beds are also possible), a toilet, sink and shower, a sitting area and TV with Dutch channels. Outside is a jacuzzi with private use for our guests. The kitchen is outside and right next to the studio, covered, but not closed. The kitchen is fully equipped including a good gas barbecue, so you are self-supporting. So you are almost always outdoors and enjoy a truly phenomenal view of the Valle di Chio. The bikes for rent are electric folding bikes. We speak Dutch, English, German and Italian.

The studio is in the middle of nature with unobstructed views of the valley, surrounded by forests. In the grounds we regularly see deer, wild boar and it is teeming with birds. The nearest town, Castiglion Fiorentino, where everything is available, is 8 km from the studio. Therefore, our guests must have their own transportation. Castiglion Fiorentino is close to Cortona and Arezzo and has a train station. There is so much to discover, see, taste and do in the area. Whether you come for the culture, for the scenery, for the Italian cuisine or want to be sporty with, for example, hiking or biking.... or you want to experience something of everything.... then Casetta dell'Angelo is the place to be. Those who have come before you in recent years have enjoyed their stay and the surroundings.
