Come spot special birds or the otter in the middle of National Park the Weerribben! The beautiful reed lands as our "backyard" and our authentic 1930s thatched farmhouse in the head of Overijssel. The farm was formerly used as a dairy farm, the milk cans were transported on narrow punt boats over the water. We turned it into a beautiful vacation lodge in 2021. Complete for a long weekend away or mini vacation with private entrance, luxury bathroom, kitchenette with 2 burner stove, mini fridge & mini oven (only for bake-off rolls) and finally a lovely Swiss Sense bed of 1.80x2.00 m. The garden and jetty is completely free for you as guest to use for relaxing, canoeing, supping or boating with all privacy. On nice days a lot of boats pass by! Enjoying nature by the water, who wouldn't want that?

With over 10,000 acres, National Park Weerribben-Wieden is the largest contiguous low moorland swamp area in northwestern Europe. A labyrinth of ponds, lakes, ditches, mysterious looking marsh forests, extensive reed beds and flowery hay meadows.
