The vacation apartment offers plenty of space and is located on the edge of the village of Zilshausen in the Hunsrück, which also has a marble run. A few books and CDs are also available and for all those who need their news and contacts despite nature, there is a TV and (sometimes) internet.

The Dünnbach Dream Loop hiking trail leads directly past the house. The Geierlay suspension rope bridge can be reached in approx. 1.5 hours on foot and Cochem on the Moselle and Boppard on the Rhine are approx. 25 km away by car. Koblenz is about 1 hour's drive along the Moselle. There is also a cycle path almost alongside the house, which you can use to cycle along the Moselle to Treis-Karden or to Kastellaun to visit the castle.
