Located in the small hamlet of Martassina, in the municipality of Ala di Stura, from the house there is access to trails through enchanted forests of larch and beech . Within walking distance of the road and parking (public parking on the street) but in an absolutely quiet and peaceful area Many alpine lakes can be reached by walking through wild and extraordinary valleys. The house has a wonderful view of the valley and river below. Walking pleasantly along the river it is possible to reach the Gorgia waterfall . A visit to the Piano della Mussa is not to be missed, both in winter and summer.Ala di Stura and its hamlets are famous for the multitude of sundials in the villages.In Martassina the old school can be visited, by reservation.In Balme there is the Mountain Guide Museum that can be visited by reservation, and a producer of craft beers ,mineral water and organic juices.
