At the edge of a sweet, small village in the heart of Friesland lies this cozy and snug nature house. With its organ, pulpit and church tower, the former church offers plenty of nostalgia and at the same time the comfort of a modern home. The church hall offers several sitting areas, a modern kitchen and a large dining table. From the sitting room upstairs you have a beautiful view over the green Frisian meadows. Here is also a large and sunny outdoor terrace.The nature house has 4 bedrooms, each with its own sink. In 3 rooms the fine double beds can also be separated into 2 single beds. The house has two bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. The house is adapted to also offer seniors and people with disabilities a nice vacation stay. It is barrier-free, has wide doors, an adapted bathroom, 1 high/low bed and a stair elevator to reach the second floor. The garden has also been made accessible.

The nature house is located in the Friesian meadow area. From the balcony and from the garden you already have a beautiful view over the green fields. Through the meadows of our neighbors (also hosts) you take a nice walk to a terp with ancient church tower. If you want to go a little further from home, you put on your walking shoes. Through the Frisian countryside you can walk along the river Swette or to beautiful small terp villages such as Mantgum, Wiuwert, Boazum and Raerd. At this nature house are 10 good bikes. With these you can paddle relaxed over winding roads along picturesque terp villages to some of the Frisian Eleven Cities such as Sneek, Bolsward, Harlingen, Franeker and Leeuwarden.
