Surrounded by the nature reserves Fochterloërveen and Drents Friese Wold, it is a true paradise for nature lovers and peace seekers. The house is spacious, modern, comfortable and cozy. There is a bedroom with two single beds. Ideal is the on-site parking with a gazebo where you can place your bicycles. The beautiful waterfront location is unique. It is a nice place to enjoy the view of Lake Gouda.

This nature house has an ideal location for exploring the nature in the area. Cyclists, hikers, birdwatchers and nature lovers can enjoy themselves here. The Fochterloërveen nature reserve is just a stone's throw away (500 meters) and is known for the presence of the European crane which breeds here in abundance. The national park Drents Friese Wild is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands and offers sand drifts, forest, heath and stream valley grasslands. The historic prison village of Veenhuizen is just around the corner is definitely worth a visit. The surrounding area is wooded. Appelscha, Roden, Norg, Eelde and Zuidlaren are nice places to visit. Each with its own attractions and nice places to eat. A visit to the Wadden Islands is even fine. The cities of Assen, Drachten and Groningen are also within easy reach.
