Tranquillity and romance in a Nature house. The 230-year-old historic farm is located in a tiny village with 85 inhabitants near the Brombachsee lake in the beautiful and historic landscape of the upper Altmühltal valley. The farmhouse was carefully renovated by an experienced eco-architect using natural materials such as clay, lime, natural stone and natural, harmonious colors. With 250 square meters of living space, the house is very spacious and has two large living areas and five spacious bedrooms. In summer you have the large, green courtyard with an idyllic seating area at your disposal and in winter the house is heated by a pleasant wall and underfloor heating system. Wood-burning stoves are also available for coziness. The courtyard is a green idyll with fruit trees, romantic roses and a fireplace. On starry nights, you can see the Milky Way and unwind.

The small village of Rittern is unusually quiet away from major roads, and my farm is a little out of time. Here you can explore the Roman past on walks along the Limes, on which the village is located quite close by, dream away at the Theilenhofen Roman baths or discover the natural wonders of the Steinernen Rinnen in the district, the blooming Märzenbecher forest in spring and the rocky gorges of the "Schnittlinger Loch" all year round, which is surrounded by the cherry and hop gardens of the old beer town of Spalt. In the idyllic Altmühltal valley, you can explore the rock formations of the "12 Apostles" and follow in the footsteps of prehistoric birds in the Solnhofer quarries, where you can easily find fossils for yourself. There are beautiful sandy beaches for relaxing and swimming at the Brombachsee lake, 5 km away. In winter, the many wonderful Christmas markets in the medieval towns of Dinkelsbühl, Rothenburg, Weißenburg, Nördlingen and many more attract visitors
