There is central heating in all rooms but there is also a fireplace that gives the living room an extra warm feeling. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, cooking stove and many pots and pans so you can cook for everyone without any problems. The living room is furnished with a large lounge area, TV, DVD player, a nice bar and a large dining table. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and upstairs there are two uninterrupted bedrooms. Each for two persons, so in total there is room for eight people. Both bathrooms are fully renovated with a walk-in shower. There are two separate toilets. Downstairs there is a room where you can play a game of darts. There is also a gas barbecue that you can take out with good weather. The garden is fully enclosed for children or a dog and there is a super sunny furnished terrace where you can enjoy the sun all day long. So, enjoy everyone.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the super small village of Marcouray. This village is a part of the community of Marcourt. The village consists of several houses and some farms. It's very quiet and you can walk into all the directions right away. In 15 minutes you can reach Marcourt where organized activities take place on the cozy village square. Every wednesday evening in the summer months there is an artisan market that is very successful. It is a party with food and drinks. Everything was set up by volunteers from the region. Really something the house owners would recommend. The nearest town is La Roche, known from its beautiful castle! You can easily walk to the castle in 1,5 hours or you can go by car (six kilometers). The center of La Roche has recently been made completely car-free and there are many terraces and eateries. Super cozy. On the other side, you will arrive in Rendeux or in Hotton, where you can also visit caves. Everywhere in this region you can sail on the Ourthe river or bathe a little. The Ourthe is the common thread through the region and has created a very beautiful landscape. A little further away (35 kilometers) you can visit Durbuy, the smallest city in the world. This is definitely worth a visit.
