The naturehouse has a surface area of 100 m² and has a living area with an open fireplace, TV and stereo set, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dish washer and three bedrooms. Two with a two person bed and one with two bunk beds. There are two bath rooms, one with a bathtub, sink, toilet and bidet, the other one with hip bath/shower, sink and WC. Towels, bedding and tablecloth are ready for you. Outside, you will find outdoor furniture and a big parasol.

In North Tuscany, lies the cute village of Careggine in the middle of the Nature Park Alpi . The authentic naturehouse built out of stone is located two kilometers away from this little village in the middle of the green hills and stunning summits at a height of 1050 meters. The surrounding is very welcoming for hikes. Most of the summits are accessible via hiking routes. It is also very inviting for visiting the small cities. There are plenty of good restaurants in the surrounding villages. One of them can be reached within 15 minutes walking distance, and five other restaurants lay at a short driving distance. The kitchen is famous for its fresh products, homemade pasta and pizza, funghi porcini and low prices. Several cities can be visited in the area such as Castiglione, Barga and Castelnuevo. Castelnouvo has a station and a variety of supermarkets, ice cream parlours, bars and terraces. With the car or train, you can reach Viareggio, the beach and the cities Lucca, Pisa and Florence.
