From the cottage you have a great view over the valley of the Dore and the mountains. Around the house is a garden with a small swimming pool. The fully equipped cottage is fully equipped. Downstairs are a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Upstairs is a second toilet and there are three bedrooms with sleeping facilities for 6-7 people. The spacious living room has a generous sitting area with TV with Dutch channels. The room has a large window with a beautiful view. East of the Massif Central lies Parc Naturel Regional du Livradois-Forez. In the middle flows the river Dore. On its right bank are the forest-covered Monts du Forez. On the left bank is the Livradois, formed by a succession of plateaus and crests of granite mountains up to 1200 meters. It is a region of herbs and trees, traditions and adeptness, shaped by water. In the immediate vicinity are several castles. Beautiful cities and towns in the area are Courpière, Billom, Ollierques, Thiers, Ambert, Vichy, Clermont-Ferrand, Riom and a little further away Le Puy en Velay. Attractions include Vulcania (a large scientific amusement park about volcanoes in an ancient volcano), Puy de Dôme (France's most famous and highest volcano) or a historic train ride. Many amenities can be found in the nearby town of Courpière (seven kilometers). At 15 kilometers is Lac d'Aubusson with a beach and tourist facilities. In good weather, you can paraglide from the Puy de Dôme. Weekly markets are held in several places. There are also several good restaurants in the area that the landlords can recommend.
