The nature house stands on a plot of over 1700 m² of private land. The ground floor has a living space of 42 m². This is where people cook, eat and relax. This room also houses the TV, DVD player, wood-burning fireplace. The second room is the L-shaped sitting/bedroom On the ground floor, adjacent to the sitting/bedroom is also the bathroom with two sinks, a shower/bathtub combination and a toilet. In the hall is another toilet facility. The upper floor has two bedrooms with, in each room, two single beds. The entire house has central heating. In the storeroom there are bicycles and the possibility of storing things you brought with you. There is a separate room for the washer / dryer. The garden with lawn, pond and several seating areas attracts many birds, squirrels, butterflies, etc. Within walking distance of the nature house is a small lake. Those who purchase a fishing license at the park can enjoy peaceful fishing and game boating (bring your own fishing rod and boats).

The nature house is an excellent base for visiting Salland, Twente, the Holter- and Lemelerberg, the Reestdal and of course the Vechtdal. Ootmarsum, Dedemsvaart (gardens of Mien Ruys), the sculpture and tea garden in Witharen and at our eastern neighbors the town of Nordhorn on the Vecht are worth a visit. For hiking in the immediate vicinity are the Eerde Estate near Ommen, the woods at Beerze and the nature reserve Engbertsdijksvenen are recommended. In the house are plenty of leaflets and walking / cycling maps available to put together a day program. By train to Zwolle and leave the car at the parking lot at Station Marienburg, is comfortable and fast. The shopping center of Bergentheim is three kilometers from the house. There is a good supermarket (Plus), a butcher and a drugstore. On Fridays there is also an excellent fish stall.
