Other outings in the area include the water park in Almunecar, Monachil, nature reserve Cabo de Gata, San José or delicious churros.For the beautiful mountain hike of Las Cahorras (bridges, rivers, mountain rocks) bring your bikini or swimming trunks, because there are beautiful waterfalls and pools where you can cool off. Nerja is touristy with the famous Balcón de Europa. Also from Nerja you can take a beautiful walk through a river that comes out at waterfalls. On Sundays you can expect some crowds here. Be overwhelmed by the beautiful Alhambra in Granada. Visit the Apujarras with the unique, white mountain villages of Capileira, Trévelez and Bubión. Or visit one of the natural parks! It is an ideal area for hiking or mountain biking.
