The most striking thing about this nature house is the peace, space and silence. On clear nights, the starry sky can be seen. The sunset is magnificent. The cottage is equipped with sunscreens and window screens to make your vacation as pleasant as possible. The kitchen has a combi microwave / hot air oven and grill. Pets such as dogs, cats and horses are welcome. There is an experienced pet sitter available so you can have a quiet day out and your animal(s) will be left behind cared for. During the Christmas period (17/12/23 to 8/01/24) you must book a minimum of 5 nights. During this period it is also very noisy because of fireworks and carbide shooting and unfortunately it is not a quiet environment. It is therefore not suitable for frightened pets during New Year's Eve. Wheelchair Friendly! This nature house is fully adapted for the use of a wheelchair. In the bathroom, all facilities are accessible to a wheelchair user.

During your stay in this nature house you will have several opportunities to discover the beautiful surroundings. The landscape found here is also called coulisse landscape and breathes an oasis of tranquility. Besides the varied natural beauty there are estates with stately mansions, such as scholte farms, a unique fish ladder and the water mills of Bereschot and of the Gulle Smid, formerly the Gulle Waard. Along the small streams the rare kingfishers can be found. Surrounded by the many forest areas interspersed with fields and meadows, this part of the Achterhoek has over 400 kilometers of hiking, cycling and riding trails through the beautiful landscape. In short, a unique area for walking, cycling and exploring on or behind the horse. And not to forget well-known Bredevoort Book Town. Also Doetinchem or Bocholt in Germany are excellent for a day trip. Directly around the house are several places to sit on the grass and enjoy the outdoor animals.
