This nature house is for two people and is located in the middle of the forests of Varmland. The stuga, Swedish for cottage, offers space for a double bed, small kitchen and dining table and a cozy sitting area. The nature house is located in the middle of the forest, on the former farm, estate or homestead, The homestead, Hamra Gärdåsen, dates back to the 17th century. Over the past three centuries, the estate has been expanded with various functional buildings required for a farm business. The farm is originally self-sufficient slowly this is coming back more and more, we follow a bio-ecological principle. A short distance from Hamra are several beautiful lakes in the woods. It is wonderfully quiet, with the sounds of cranes and birds of prey in the background. On summer days, the birds of prey soar on thermals above the garden. With nightfall the deer and elk often visit the garden, the next day you can often find the signs of their nocturnal stay.

Nature and tranquility make Sweden an ideal vacation destination for peace seekers, where enjoying peace, space, flora and fauna is paramount. Sweden is rich in nature. The large forests provide space for various animal species that are not found in the Netherlands. One can pick mushrooms under supervision and then prepare a culinary meal. In addition to the larger mammals (moose, reindeer), special bird species settled in Sweden, such as the Lapland owl and sparrow owl. Nature in this beautiful country is still relatively untouched. Especially in the north of the country are vast areas. The country's forests consist mainly of Norway spruce. One mammal still found here but almost never seen is the wolverine, a small bear species found almost exclusively in Scandinavia. There are several options for travel to Sweden: overland, 1400 kilometers via Denmark and the Great Belt Bridge, or by boat from Germany or Denmark.
