The west wing of our house has been made into a completely independent bedroom, bathroom, dressingroom, sitting room/dining room and kitchenette apartment. The view from the veranda is spectacular over the garden and the hills beyond. The house is situated in a rural area, and it is very quiet and far from main roads. At the same time, very conveniently, Sao Bras and supermarkets etc. is only five minute’s drive away. There is a large parking area just below the house and the infinity pool offers lovely views as well. Guests are welcome to walk around the garden and pick whatever fruit is in season.

The country side is very unspoilt around our house with lots of little farms dotting the hills. Our nearest neighbour is about 300 metres away. It is hilly country, which for walkers and bikers can be challenging… In the apartment you will find several books and information on walks in the Algarve. The bird life in our garden is amazing. The birds certainly enjoy all the different trees we have planted during our 20 years living here. We are only 20 minute’s drive to beaches along the coast, to Faro and to the airport.
