This charming, thatched nature house is in an incredible location on the Paterswoldse Meer, in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve. Want to skate in the winter? From this point you can do so in a very idyllic way. The layout of the house is bright and practical. Downstairs you will find the living room with open kitchen with Nespresso machine and air conditioning. The French doors with roller screens on both sides are always open when the weather is nice. Next to the hallway is a bathroom with toilet, sink, bathtub with shower. Next to the front door is the room for the meter cupboard, gas boiler and washing machine. The garden of this house is a nice prelude to what is to come; beautifully maintained, with lots of grass, shrubs and flower beds. Remarks: No smoking. No parties or events. From the moment you arrive at Lake Paterswoldse Meer, you are overcome by a sense of freedom. The lake, which originated around 1740, is part of the Meerschap Paterswolde and is connected to the Hoornsemeer. The total area of about 900 hectares includes lakes, forests, islands, beaches, hiking trails, bicycle paths, recreational facilities, catering establishments and water sports facilities. Through a lock four meters wide, the Paterswoldsemeer is also connected to the North Willemskanaal. This combined with a draft of 1.20 meters makes the Paterswoldsemeer the center of water recreation and water sports.
