Within walking distance you can go to the Salm river and its tributaries, along which you can make beautiful walks. Nearby you will also find a beautiful quarry, four kilometers from the Vielsalm lake, where you can get a drink in the cozy tavern restaurant. Some ski slopes such as the Baraque-Fraiture, Lierneux and Wanne certainly offer winter skiing.
