The nature house is located in the hamlet beautifully named Les Bois de la Madeleine, just five minutes by car from the Unesco World Heritage Site of Vézelay. The cottage is more than a century old and has been transformed in recent years into a modern and comfortable accommodation, while retaining its original features: tomettes (authentic French tiles) on the floor, stone walls and original beamed ceilings. At the front is a small garden with terrace. It is located on a quiet, departmental road amidst forests, meadows and hills. Here you are in the real deep France, in the real French countryside.

Vézelay is located on the northern edge of the Morvan Regional Natural Park. This region is characterized by vast fields and forests, rolling countryside, ancient eroded streams and rivers, impressive reservoirs and a small but excellent wine-growing region. Also nearby are beautiful rock walls and caves.
