This nature house is located in the north of the Dordogne, in the hamlet of Petit Brouillac, in a beautiful setting of peace, space and relaxation. The cottage is spacious; suitable for six to eight people. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a separate kitchen, a utility room and a hall, spread over two floors. It is comfortable with all the trimmings (dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, TV, internet, oven, microwave, etc.) There are towels and tea towels; the beds are made. It is a cozy house with spacious living room, large covered porch and garden all around. There is a free 12x6.5 meter swimming pool a minute and a half walk away. Also a tennis court, a playground, fishing lakes and a 9-hole golf course are almost at your doorstep.

This is in the Périgord Vert, the northern part of the Dordogne. This region stands for peace, nature and water; forests, lakes, rivers with small villages and towns and is less touristy than the south of the Dordogne. Despite this, there are the necessary attractions in the area. Nearby is the medieval town of Excideuil with a particularly beautiful castle, a gothic church and a lively market on Thursdays. There are also castles in the immediate vicinity in Jumilhac and Hautefort. Périgueux, the capital of the Dordogne, is well worth a visit with a beautiful cathedral and the wonderful museum Vesunna; there is a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The caves of Lascaux (prehistoric drawings) are half an hour away by car. The cottage is built on a hill in the hamlet of Petit Brouillac, which has 13 houses. From the house you can make beautiful walks: along the River Loue or along the Auvézère; uphill through woods and farmland. It is an excellent base for cycling tours through a rolling landscape with many forests, fields of walnut trees and villages.
