The nature house is located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne, on the outer borders of the Périgord (Dordogne). The charm and beauty of the rolling, hilly landscape make Douzains an ideal vacation spot for those who love peace and quiet, nature and beautiful, old towns. Its convenient geographical location makes it easy to visit the bastide towns in the area from Douzains, including Monpazier, Villeréal, Castillonnès and Monflaquin. But the beautiful castles of Biron, Bonaquil and Duras are also a stone's throw away. Of course, you can also take a larger tour to medieval towns, such as Sarlat and Agen, and end it through the wine regions of Bergerac or Cahors. From May through September, the region hosts a variety of markets, celebrations and festivals.
