This renovated traditional stone house is surrounded by fruit orchards and vegetable gardens. The farm is five minutes walk from the Mediterranean sea, the beach and the historical center of Otranto. Free street parking available. The small stone house has been recently completely renovated to be comfortable and stylish, following the original details and style of the old Apulia country life. It is small, like a hotel room, and it hosts the bedroom, the private bathroom and a lovely fireplace. The living areas are mainly outdoors: kitchen, lounge area, entry area in the shade under pergolas.

This naturehouse is surrounded by gorgeous rural countryside of Valle Dell'Idro, quiet and natural, but still few minutes walk from the center of Otranto and the sea. Lights in the gardens are limited to solar lights, but the area around the house is more lighten. The project is based on Permaculture principles and they try to reduce waste as much as possible, limiting the use of water and electricity. Please turn off the lights when you don't use them, stop the flow of water in the toilet when it's possible, and collect the water from the kitchen sink in a bucket to water the plants nearby. They do recycle their waste, collecting separately plastic, glass, cardboard and paper, and especially all plant related waste that will become compost and rich soil for our gardens. You'll be sharing some of your living space with their friendly cats, they hope you'll enjoy their company as much as they do.
