You will stay in and around Vale do Ferro. A beautiful small, fairly remote village, with a few houses and many olive trees. The guest house has a living room with an open kitchen. On the second floor of this nature house: a bathroom, bedroom with double bed, and an open space with two single beds. Vale do Ferro is located in the Mondego Valley with many hiking opportunities that start right at the door. The nature lover, fisherman, photographer or painter will find what they are looking for here. The old country offers beautiful rock formations with hidden crystals. The abandoned mill houses and ruins and the numerous dolmen in the vicinity appeal to the imagination. After an adventurous trip it is blissful to relax at the swimming pool (salt water). Or drink a nice wine or Belgian beer on the terrace of our art gallery. On request, we also prepare simple meals. But we can also recommend several restaurants within a 15-minute drive. Ideal base for a cultural trip to for example Viseu 40 kilometers, Coimbra 90 kilometers, the typical Beira villages or the high mountains Serra da Estrela at about 50 kilometers are in the possibilities.
