Nature house The Crested Tit is located on an unpaved path in the middle of the forest. The Achterhoek is known for its beautiful scenery. Winterswijk has the longest continuous mountain bike trail in the Netherlands (bikes for rent at Profile, bring service). Within walking distance 't Mentink and Ankommn (coffee or tea etc). Beekbos Bekendelle, the Zwillbrock (flamingos!), the Woold and the Wooldse Veen a little further. Winterswijk is 2 kilometers from the nature house. Public transport (bus) at 1 kilometer, train 6 kilometers. Saturdays and Wednesday mornings there is a market around the Grote Kerk in Winterswijk. In Winterswijk are many clothing stores, there is a cinema, ice cream parlors, restaurants and of course supermarkets (Jumbo, Lidl, Dekamarkt, AH). In short: our bosnatuurhuisje is very suitable for a weekend away or a vacation at home!
