Our "naturehouse" will welcome you within its ancient lava stone walls to enjoy the peace and air at the foot of an extinct former volcanic crater, Mt. Ilice. The accommodation is located halfway between the sea and the volcano, reachable by car in 15-30 minutes, and is part of the facilities on our small family-run organic farm. From the room, which has a rustic and romantic feel, you will overlook a small courtyard with a cistern that looks out to our vineyard and the horizon of the Ionian coast. To reach the toilets dedicated to you, complete with sink, shower and toilet, you need to walk a few meters in the open air, as they are located inside another structure where you can enter to visit a renovated late 19th-century millstone and learn how it works. Behind the building there is a wooden pergola with lawn area and brick barbecue corner with sink and light point at your disposal.

We are located in the middle of Etna Park, in a very quiet and isolated area, far from the city traffic but at the same time very close to the small towns of Trecastagni and Zafferana Etnea. Mount Ilice represents a stop that can be easily reached even on foot to enjoy, with a short climb, a breathtaking view and better understand the geology of the Etnean territory. However, we strongly recommend renting a car to be able to move more easily and visit more places during your stay. We will be on hand to recommend routes on your own or with trusted nature guides and provide you with all the directions for transportation or bike rentals. If, on the other hand, you prefer to stay on site, you will have the opportunity to walk around the property in total freedom.
