This nature house is bathed in an oasis of silence and tranquility. The 12-person cottage is a combination of the gîte (2-4 persons/nature house 32178) and the vacation house (2-6 persons/nature house 41398). Through a lock, both parts of the house can be merged into 1 large vacation home for larger groups up to 12 people. We have 10 beds in the house, but there are sleeping mattresses (one double and one single) and/or a bed in the caravan in the garden. The house is heated with wood stoves and a pellet stove. Kitchen and bed linen, towels are generously provided and are not charged. Energy consumption is also included in the price. In the evening a campfire can be made. There are maps with various hiking trails.

The house is located in a hamlet in the French Ardennes, in a beautiful, sparsely populated, hilly region characterized by farmlands interspersed with dense forests and here and there a village It is quiet here and the nights are dark. Bird watchers are sure to find something here. Deer can also be seen fairly regularly. It is very nice to walk and bike in the hills. 20 km away is the provincial town of Rethel, 65 km to the north Charleville-Mézières on the Meuse and to the south the Champagne city of Reims. Logny-lès-Chaumont is 180 km from Brussels, 350 km from Utrecht. Visit producers of fresh local produce, such as cider, honey, saffron and (a little further away) champagne. Horseback riding on a draft horse (Ardennais) or take children for a horse and carriage ride.
